Street Hawker Turbo has opened in Cambie Village, bringing a new neighbourhood dining spot focused on smash burgers, fried chicken, and flavours inspired by Asian hawker markets. The restaurant is the latest project from Justin Cheung and Dominic Sai, the team behind Potluck Hawker Eatery and Street Hawker.
The menu focuses on smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches made with 100 % Canadian, Halal certified beef and poultry. Signature items include the Pad Kra Pow! Smash Burger with Thai basil style flavours into a classic burger format, while wings are offered in Golden Sand and Fish Sauce Caramel, a nod to a Potluck Hawker Eatery classic.
New to this location is the Filet-O Sally, a fried fish sandwich made with crispy salmon katsu and topped with tobiko tartar sauce. Milkshakes are hand spun in pandan, Milo, and Thai tea flavours, keeping the menu aligned with Southeast Asian influences. Rounding out the beverage options are craft beers and imports.
