A night out in Vancouver‘s West End comes together easily this time of year, with festive lights, a warm drink, and a relaxed dinner to pace the evening.
We started at Jim Deva Plaza to see the hanging snowflakes and the Candy Cane Cottage.

We then picked up a hot drink from Blenz to warm up.

The adventure continued on to the glowing holiday tree and oversized MERRY letters at 1800 Davie Plaza.

Dinner was at Nook, a cozy West End favourite for pizza and pastas. We shared a margherita pizza; a prosciutto pizza with arugula, roasted garlic, and grana padano; spaghetti Bolognese with classic meat ragù; rigatoni arrabbiata with spicy pomodoro and sun dried tomatoes; and the Nook Caesar with radicchio, escarole, lemon, anchovy, croutons, and grana padano.

After dinner, we finished the night with a stroll past Robson and Cardero to see the new sparkle lights overhead, a simple way to end the evening on a festive note.
