It’s Okay and Rosie’s BBQ are teaming up to bring Vancouver‘s East Village a celebration of US college football and Southern-inspired eats on December 21. This one-day pop-up promises a lively atmosphere, featuring a tripleheader of College Football Playoff games starting at 9 a.m.
Fans can indulge in Brisket Biscuits, Frito Pie, 3lb Smoked Beef Dino Ribs, Smoked Fraser Valley Chicken Wings with Decatur Sauce, and Brisket Poutine. To complement the hearty BBQ menu, $5 cans of Phillips Tilt Lager and Tilt Light will be available to enjoy throughout the event. Rosie’s signature Central Texas BBQ will also take centre stage, with their impressive 500-gallon Texas smoker, “Hank,” parked outside the venue.
Located at 2481 East Hastings, It’s Okay will host the festivities, creating a spot for football fans and East Village residents to enjoy the games while savouring delicious Southern flavours. Takeout will also be offered for those tackling holiday errands.
